Just about 25 years ago I started the studio in the Greek Colony in Jerusalem. Though my degree was in Fine Arts, I was obsessed with clay and started working full time making pieces I then sold in the US at Judaica stores, and started teaching groups of kids.

In our home has been in Talpiot for the last 18 years, and the studio has grown and seen many students go on to open their own studios, businesses and attend Bezalel at Hebrew University.

Though I still want to teach occasionally, and I still like to get my hands dirty!, I am moving into another career of Interior Design and I am looking to have someone run the studio in all its functions.

This person MUST have a background in clay, have good organizational and administrative skills.

Responsibilities include:

-Managing the studio & Assistants

-Teaching classes

-Registration

-Marketing

It is an amazing opportunity for an oleh/a, a recent grad from a Ceramics school, or a clay artist looking to eventually own their own studio  I am here to mentor and guide this process. Pay is negotiable. Big PERK - you can use the studio anytime for your won work!

We have ongoing classes and workshops with both kids and adults, summer camps and katanot. Most are English speakers who also speak Hebrew.

If this excites you and you fit the bill. Please contact me by sending me your resume with a letter of intent to : artworksmallory@gmail.com
