For those with some experience working in clay, or who completed the Tools & Techniques course. Independent study time designed so you create projects with the guidance of an instructor.
Fall & Spring Semesters each eighteen (18) sessions:
September 1 - January 24 & February 7 - June 20
Wednesday mornings: 9AM-12 noon / NIS 565 per month
3 hour session
Tuesday evenings: 6:30-9 PM / NIS 485 per month
2.5 hour session
The prerequisite for Adult Clay. In this course, beginners learn basic hand-building techniques and many of the tools of the craft. A must for newcomers, or those who want to refresh their skills. Over the six weeks, you will explore: pinch pots, coil building, slab building, slump molds, and sculpting, along with many painting techniques. Six 2.5 hour sessions.
Tuesday evenings: 6:30-9 PM
Wednesday mornings: 9 AM-12 noon
Private lessons on the POTTER'S WHEEL for those with no previous experience or who want to refresh their skills.
NIS 180 for 1 hour lesson / NIS 220 for 1.5 hour lesson / NIS 340 for 2 people

Tools & Techniques
For kids ages 7-12 years old. Together we will take their ideas and direct them into a unique clay project. Beginners will start learning the basics of working in clay: pinch pots, coil pots, slab building and sculpting. Many different painting techniques are taught and kids learn about color, shape, design and more.
Fall & Spring Semesters: Sept 1 - June 25
Tuesdays: 3:30-5:00 PM or 4:00-5:30 PM
Wednesdays: 4:00-5:30 PM

The Magic of Majolica
Centuries old technique made popular in Italy and Spain, using terracotta clay with a white glaze, bright and colorful designs are possible.

Teens from age 13 years old with or without prior experience in clay, can participate in eight ceramics classes designed just for them and their friends. Together we will take their ideas and direct them into unique clay projects.
